Indeed, the festivities are all part of the wedding celebration. But it is the covenanted union of a man and a woman promised before God that provides the real substance for a lifetime together. That is why marriage is a sacrament. How can we prepare for this most important commitment? What is true love anyway? What do dating and courtship have to do with it?
