Johnnette and her husband, Anthony, share with you the journey of faith the Lord has led them on in the past couple of years. Starting with March 2004, when they lost their 25 year old son, Simon, in a vehicular accident just a few short months after his return from Iraq where he served in the 4th Infantry Division of the US Army. The journey continues when more recently, one year following Simon’s death, Anthony was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, the most aggressive and fatal of brain cancers. Johnnette and Anthony have learned much about what it means to embrace the cross and what it means to live in the grace of the present moment. They have learned much about the vows they took on July 6, 1973 and they have truly experienced the full measure of God’s sufficiency that is an infinite supply of grace that enlightens, guides, consoles and heals.
