Women of Grace in South Florida Celebrate the Close of the Year of Mercy

Women of Grace at Our Lady of Mercy in Deerfield Beach, Florida celebrated a grace-filled First Saturday on November 4th.  These beautiful sacred sisters attended morning Mass together and then processed through the Holy Doors, designated for the Jubilee Year of Mercy.  Together they prayed for the Holy Father, Pope Francis’s intentions to receive the Plenary Indulgence. Women of Grace at the Padre Pio Festival

IMG_2362Bonnie Torpey, Susan Jacobsen, Nancy Elhajj, Antonetta Mosca and Lori Citsay represented the Women of Grace sacred sisterhood at an information table at the 16th annual Padre Pio Festival in Vineland, New Jersey on September 25, 2016.  Over 8000 people had the opportunity to venerate the heart of Padre Pio that was brought to the United States for the first time by Capuchin Friars from the Shrine of St. Padre Pio in southern Italy.   Read the rest…

Next month the Catholic galaxy will become a little brighter as the Church receives a new cluster of saints. Among the holy handful will be just one woman, a French Carmelite considered by Pope Saint John Paul II to be one the most influential mystics of his life.

Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity was born as Elizabeth Catez, “Sabeth” to her friends, in 1880. She was a hot-tempered child with sometimes “furious eyes” whose father died while she was young, forcing her mother to move Sabeth and her younger sister from their home in Dijon to a smaller second-story flat. From her window, little Sabeth could look down into the garden of the Carmelite convent. Read the rest…

Despite being less than six months since it’s official launch, Young Women of Grace is already making its way around the world. Riding on the wings of the Holy Spirit, it was brought to Trinidad where several young women took the course this summer and weren’t shy about telling us what they thought about it!

West Texas Women of Grace Thrives

We received the beautiful letter below from Beatriz Machuca, one of our Texas facilitators:

On August 15, 2016, the Feast Day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, West Texas Catholic Communities of the El Paso Diocese, Women of Grace Study Program celebrated the completion of the “Full of Grace: Women and the Abundant Life.” Fourteen women graduated the study which began in March 2016.  During the 20 weeks the women who journeyed through the study, bloomed like butterflies.  Their transformation was a wonder to see, how each embraced their femininity and dignity as daughter of Our Amazing King, Jesus.  God really outdid Himself with this bunch.   Read the rest…
