Lawmakers Suspect “Politicization” of ObamaCare Waivers

Lawmakers are calling for a congressional investigation of the granting of waivers by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to companies who do not want to comply with ObamaCare’s ban on annual coverage limits, some of which were unions who contributed heavily to Obama’s election campaign.

Repeal of ObamaCare Not Dead Yet in Senate

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who is known to be an expert on the Senate’s most arcane rules, has already begun a legislative process that will bring the House-passed repeal of ObamaCare to a vote where many nervous Democrats up for re-election in 2012 will be forced to make their position known on the vastly unpopular bill.

U.S. Bishops Want ObamaCare Revised

As the vote to repeal the vastly unpopular health care reform law gets underway in the House today, the U.S. Bishops have sent a letter to all members of Congress saying they do not intend to join efforts to either support or oppose repeal of ObamaCare, but will “devote our efforts to correcting serious moral problems in the current law.”
