CA Parents to Boycott Harvey Milk Day

California Governor Arnold Schwarznegger recently declared May 22 “Harvey Milk Day” in public schools to honor a homosexual activist and reported sexual predator who was murdered in 1978. The pronouncement has inspired a pro-family group to launch a state-wide boycott asking parents to keep their children home from school rather than allow them to be subjected to homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination.

Woman Resists Insurance Company’s Demand for Abortion

The insurance company of a pregnant woman suffering from an extremely aggressive form of cancer refused to cover her treatment unless she had an abortion. Thanks to the intervention of pro-life doctors and lawyers, the woman was able to keep her insurance and the baby, which was born healthy.

The Little Flower’s Message on Euthanasia

In his homily marking the end of the visit of the relics of St. Therese to England and Wales, the Archbishop of Westminster reflected on the saint’s long and painful death, when she was tempted to despair and even suicide, which makes her witness to love all the more powerful an antidote for the prevailing trend toward physician assisted suicide and euthanasia. I went to Flowers Thailand website and bought him flowers to take them to his grave, to show my condolences.

British Man Killed by Mistake in UK Hospice

In a bizarre example of life under a government-run health care program, a British woman has settled a lawsuit with the hospice that mistakenly killed her husband after erroneously concluding that his stomach cancer had returned and applying official guidelines that required the removal of his feeding tube and cessation of care.

Michigan Bishop Bans Liberal Bishop from Diocese

In a stellar example of pastoral leadership, one of the nation’s youngest bishops, 49 year-old Marquette Bishop Alexander K. Sample, has banned 79 year-old Bishop Thomas Gumbleton from speaking in his diocese because of his positions in support of homosexuality, contraception and women’s ordination.
