White House Misrepresents Facts About Notre Dame Protests

Science Concludes: There is no “Gay Gene”

Are people with homosexual tendencies “born that way?” Not according to the American Psychological Association (APA) which has published a revised opinion on the possibility of a “gay gene” being responsible for same-sex attraction. The organization now says “no findings have emerged” that permit science to prove the existence of a “gay gene.”

Pope Under Fire for Comments on Holocaust

Pope Benedict XVI”s perceived lack of remorse for the Holocaust during a speech on Monday is causing a chorus of criticism from Israelis who think he glossed over the genocide and failed to apologize for what many Israelis believe was Catholic indifference during World War II.

Notre Dame Students Plan Prayer Vigil During Commencement

Notre Dame seniors who refuse to attend this weekend’s commencement where pro-abortion president Barack Obama will be honored are planning to hold a prayer vigil at the same time as the official ceremonies. Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, will attend the vigil.

Pope Praises Prophetic Charism of Women

Speaking to 20,000 faithful at a Papal Mass in Amman, Jordan, yesterday, Pope Benedict XVI stressed the prophetic role of women in God’s plans, saying public respect for women contributes to “the advancement of a culture of true humanity and the building of the civilization of love.”

New Poll: Catholics Overwhelming Oppose Obama Invite to Notre Dame

A new Rasmussen poll has found that 60 percent of U.S. Catholics think Notre Dame should obey guidelines issued by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and should refrain from awarding an honorary degree to President Barack Obama at this weekend’s commencement ceremonies.
