“Shack” Author Embroiled in Lawsuit While Writing Screenplay

The peace that the world cannot give does not appear to be reigning in the life of Paul Young, author of the controversial best-seller, The Shack, who is suing his two long-time friends and business partners, alleging that they bilked him out of $8 million in royalties. While a federal judge mulls over the case, he’s busy writing a screenplay with the hopes of bringing the book’s flawed portrayal of Christianity to a wider audience.

Controversial Imam Admits to Writing Obama’s Cairo Speech

A new audio tape has surfaced on which the Imam of the proposed Ground Zero Mosque reveals that he provided President Barack Obama with the so-called “blueprint” of a solution to the Islamic-American divide which served as the basis for the president’s 2009 Cairo speech.

Archbishop Chaput Calls Upon Faithful to Resist Increasing Intolerance of Christianity

While addressing the first session of the 15th symposium for the Canon Law Association of Slovakia this week, Denver’s Archbishop Charles Chaput  called upon Christians to fight against the “civil religion” of relativism and the rise of a “state-encouraged atheism” that seeks to reduce religion to “an individual lifestyle accessory.”
