NY Bishops: Right to Life Trumps All Other Issues in Voting Booth

Bishops from the state of New York have issued a new pastoral letter stating that the right to life trumps all other issues in the voting booth, including party loyalty and other issues such as the economy or education.

Archbishop: Catholic Pols Who Betray Faith Must Repent Publicly

In remarks given at a conference in Rome last week, the current head of the Vatican’s Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura said that Catholic politicians who publicly espouse gravely sinful acts such as abortion must not only repent of the error, but do so in public in order to repair the grave scandal caused as a result of their actions.

Judge Sides with Firefighters in “Gay Pride Parade” Suit

A California appellate court has ruled in favor of four San Diego firefighters who sued the fire department after being forced to participate in the city’s Gay Pride Parade, an action which the court believes constituted sexual harrassment.
