Atheists Sue to Prevent Placement of Cross at World Trade Center Memorial

Activists Launch Same-Sex Marriage Bus Tour

Proponents of same-sex marriage are planning to use the momentum they gained by the passage of New York’s Marriage Equality Act to launch a bus tour that will take them into 11 states that have banned the unions with the hopes of educating locals on other ways to secure equal recognition under the law.

Lawsuit Filed Against NY Same-Sex Marriage Law

Alleging “flagrant violations” of New York State constitutional and legal procedures in the recent passage of the Marriage Equality Act, a lawsuit has been filed in the New York Supreme Court on behalf of several plaintiffs which could put a halt to same-sex marriages in the state as well as invalidate those that have taken place since the law went into effect on Sunday.
