Dr. Nirav Sha, New York State’s Health Commissioner, has resigned after a lawsuit revealed that his department was inspecting tanning salons more than the 225 abortion facilities in the state.
At a time when the rights of faithful Americans are being repeatedly attacked by special interest groups, Pope Francis issued a timely warning about “a dictatorship of a narrow line of thought” that kills “people’s freedom, their freedom of conscience.”
Researchers have found a link between people who are likely to forgive themselves and the damage caused to the body by stress, saying those willing to “cut themselves some slack” may actually live longer than those who don’t.
