Synod Focuses on Marriage Prep, Sacraments for Divorced

vatican at nightDay seven of the Synod of Bishops on the Family focused primarily on forming couples for marriage and accompanying them after marriage, as well as providing the sacraments to the divorced and remarried. The press spokesman also addressed a letter that was supposedly given to the Pope before the Synod began which expressed concern about the way the Synod was being managed.
