As shocking as Monday night’s vote on the Born Alive Abortion Survivor’s Protection Act was to the nation, it was even more appalling to Catholics who watched 10 Senators who claim to be Catholic vote against a bill that would protect babies who were born alive after an abortion.

State legislatures continue to grapple with abortion law with Vermont being the latest to pass a gruesome bill allowing abortion at any stage in a pregnancy, and Arkansas passing a law that will ban abortion completely should Roe v. Wade ever be repealed.

HHS Final Rule Will Strip Planned Parenthood of $60 Million

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced on Friday that they have produced a final rule that will restore Title X family planning regulations which prohibit funds from being used by clinics who are co-located with abortion facilities or who refer patients for abortions – a move which could impact Planned Parenthood facilities to the tune of $60 million a year.

Senate Fails to Pass Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act

By a vote of 53-44, a bill to protect infants born alive after an abortion failed to pass with pro-abortion Democrats preventing the measure to receive the necessary 60 votes.

Young Woman of Grace Discovers How Powerful Women Can Be

Jill attended a Young Women of Grace group in western Pennsylvania in 2018.

“When I first started Young Women of Grace, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be in a group of girls that I was somewhat familiar with, but it helped us get a little closer because we were eager to grow more in our faith, especially as young women living in this generation. Probably the neatest thing about the program was the fact that inserted in the book were stories of real female saints that overcame incredible hardships. Personally this is striking because it shows how powerful women can be especially with the help of God.”

Senate Votes Tonight on Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act!

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has scheduled a Senate vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S.11) for tonight. If passed, the would extend federal legal protection not babies born alive during an abortion.
