Pepsi has decided to continue its tradition of promoting the homosexual agenda in the workplace. The company recently donated a half million dollars to a homosexual advocacy group that supports radical political causes such as same-sex marriage, hate-crime laws and gay adoption.
The American Family Association (AFA) says the company has failed to respond to two requests to discuss its recent financial support of a homosexual advocacy group known as Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). The AFA is calling on members to voice their opposition to Pepsi Chairman Ms. Indra K. Nooyi and, depending on her response, will decide whether to call for a nationwide boycott of Pepsi products.
Pepsi has a tradition of support for the group, the AFA reports. “We are delighted to continue our partnership with PFLAG,” said Jacqueline Millan, director of PepsiCo Corporate Contributions, in a past statement, “(in) promoting the necessary message of inclusion to untapped groups . . . and that is a crucial step toward building a healthy working environment.”
Despite the fact that 30 states have passed constitutional amendments defining marriage as being between a man and a woman, Pepsi has chosen to continue to support efforts by same-sex groups to advocate for homosexual marriage.
Following its latest contribution to PFLAG, AFA wrote Pepsi on Oct. 14 and again on Oct. 29 asking the company to remain neutral in the culture war.
“Pepsi didn’t care enough to respond to the AFA letters,” said AFA founder and chairman, Donald E. Wildmon. “Pepsi’s lack of response indicates the company plans to continue support for the homosexual agenda.”
The AFA has decided to ask its members to write to Pepsi with the hopes of gaining a response before calling for a boycott of its products.
