Three journalist are determined to make the public aware of the seedy side of America’s “safe, legal abortion” industry by telling the story of abortionist and convicted killer Kermit Gosnell who slaughtered thousands of infants in his West Philadelphia clinic that was dubbed a “house of horrors” by authorities.
LifeSiteNews.com is reporting that Phelim McAleer, Ann McElhinney, and Magdalena Segeida are hoping to raise $2.1 million to produce a made-for-TV movie entitled Kermit Gosnell: America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer. It will document the life and crimes of Kermit Gosnell, the abortionist whose crimes were so horrific the mainstream media dared not cover the story for fear of giving the abortion industry the black-eye it deserves.
“Despite the salacious details of stomach-churning filth, murder, and macabre habits of storing fetal body parts, it took a national Tweetfest to break the news media’s silence on the Gosnell case,” LifeSite reports. “Some in the media attempted to humanize Gosnell as a complicated idealist, a noble figure gone wrong.”
Nothing could be further from the truth.
“Dr. Kermit Gosnell is the most prolific serial killer in American history,” the journalists say. “Gosnell killed more people than Gary Ridgeway, John Wayne Gacey, The Zodiac Killer, and Ted Bundy combined. In a 30 year killing spree, it is thought he killed thousands of babies. And that’s not a national story?”
Not according to the mainstream media.
“Hollywood never would fund a movie such as this,” they say. “They haven’t even tried.”
Nor will they ever, but MacAleer and friends believe Gosnell’s story can change hearts about the unborn just as it changed the hearts of the pro-choice jurors who tried Kermit Gosnell and who voted to put him away for life for the heartless way in which he murdered infants who were born alive after abortions.
The group estimates that they will need $2.1 million to fund the project, a goal that will be crowdfunded by donations made through their Indiegogo.com page. The three were able to fund their last movie, Fracknation, through crowdfunding; however, if they fail to reach this more ambitious goal, Indiegogo will automatically return all the funds and the movie will not be made.
They’re hoping enough money will be pledged in order to bring the censorship of the Gosnell story to an end.
“This is your chance to bypass the media ‘information gatekeepers’ to get tens of millions of Americans thinking about what happened in Philadelphia,” they write on their site.
“With your help we’re going to hire the best screenwriter, director and actors to make sure that the story of Kermit Gosnell gets into every home in America.”
