CA Parents to Boycott Harvey Milk Day

California Governor Arnold Schwarznegger recently declared May 22 “Harvey Milk Day” in public schools to honor a homosexual activist and reported sexual predator who was murdered in 1978. The pronouncement has inspired a pro-family group to launch a state-wide boycott asking parents to keep their children home from school rather than allow them to be subjected to homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination.

“Fathers and mothers are angry about Harvey Milk Day pushing this extreme, perverse role model upon their kids,” said SaveCalifornia.com president Randy Thomasson. “Children belong to parents, not to the state! Since SB 572 has no opt-out, boycotting Harvey Milk Day and pulling their children out of the imploding government school system is the only way for parents to protect their girls and boys.”

Harvey Milk was murdered along with San Francisco Mayor George Moscone in 1978 by a disgruntled former supervisor. Milk was the first openly gay man to be elected to public office, serving as a San Francisco Supervisor for 11 months.

According to a biography written by homosexual reporter Randy Shilts, entitled, The Mayor of Castro Street, Harvey Milk was an outspoken promoter of homosexuality and a notorious predator of teenaged boys. As Shilts writes on page 24 of his book, “It would be to boyish-looking men in their late teens and early 20’s that Milk would be attracted for the rest of his life.”

After explaining Milk’s many flings and affairs with teenagers and young men, Shilts writes about how Milk told one “lover” why it was okay for him to be involved in multiple sexual relationships at the same time.

“As homosexuals, we can’t depend on the heterosexual model . . . . We grow up with the heterosexual model, but we don’t have to follow it. We should be developing our own life-style. There’s no reason why you can’t love more than one person at a time. . .”

In order to attract sympathy for the gay cause, Milk lied for years about having been thrown out of the military because he was gay when he was discharged for other reasons. As Shilts writes:  “He had not suffered this disgrace, he told a later campaign manager, but he knew the story would make good copy.”

Bowing to political pressure from gay activists, President Barack Obama awarded Milk a posthumous Medal of Freedom, saying that “Milk encouraged lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender citizens to live their lives openly and believed coming out was the only way they could change society and achieve social equality.”

Since Governor Schwarznegger signed SB 572 into law, many public schools will mark the day with  “suitable commemorative exercises,” remembering the life, “accomplishments,” and “contributions” of Harvey Milk.

“In other words, the entire homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda for which Milk advocated,” Thomasson says. “There is no definition or limit to these “exercises,” which could include gay pride parades, cross-dressing contests and mock gay weddings, or anything else Milk supported.”

Because there is no opt-out provision in the law, many parents will have no recourse but to keep their children home on this day.

“This is a red alert for parents” said Thomasson. “Your child will be sexually indoctrinated if left in the government-school system. Parents are waking up to the fact that to protect their kids from being sexually brainwashed, they must not only keep them home on Harvey Milk Day, but they must rescue their children by placing them in homeschooling or a solid church school.”
