What do I think is the relationship between “real excellence” and “humility?” Why are they “twin sisters?”

Humility, however, isn’t a matter of false modesty or of finding excuses to avoid doing what God asks of us. St. Joseph accepted the fact that, in spite of his sinfulness, he had been chosen by God to be the husband of Mary and the foster-father of Jesus, and he did everything possible to fulfill this mission as best he could.
