The only difference between a sinner and a saint is found in their attitudes toward their sins—the one persisting in them; the other weeping bitterly.
-Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
For Reflection:
Do I weep bitterly for every sin I commit? Are there sins that I persist in? I need to check my attitude on each of my sins. When I think of how our dear Baby Jesus whose birth we celebrate today paid for all of my sins, it does make me weep bitterly even now as I write this reflection – Please forgive me my Lord and Saviour. I am so sorry for every sin that I ever committed that you had to pay for. Your boundless love for me and all other sinners is very difficult for me to comprehend at times. My prayer is always to love you more today than I did yesterday, but not as much as I will tomorrow!

“I wish and intensely desire that in this place my sanctuary be erected. Here, I will demonstrate, I will exhibit, I will give all my love, my compassion, my help and my protection to the people. I am your merciful Mother. The merciful Mother of all of you who live united in this land, and of all mankind, of all those who love me. Here I will hear their weeping, their sorrow, and will remedy, and alleviate all their multiple sufferings, necessities and misfortunes.”
