Page 15  The stakes are high.  We are destined to the endless ecstasy called heaven, not to the paltry pleasures of earth, which, no matter how intense they occasionally may be, soon fade away.  We exist not to pursue the fatuous inflation of prestige and fame, but to “dance with joy” in the only lasting glorification–begun on earth and completed hereafter–that is given to the humble who are invited to “enter into the joy of their Lord.”
