Page 27  This is why Jesus established a Church to teach and discern in His name:  “Whoever listens to you listens to me.  Whoever rejects you rejects me”  (Lk 10:16, NAB).  There must be some interpreter who is authorized to correct misunderstandings, of which, we may be sure, there will be an abundance.  There must be a visible teacher with divine authority, as St Paul puts it:  “Another reason why we constantly thank God for you is…I Thessalonians 2:13.
