A new Chobani yogurt commercial featuring two naked women in bed is causing outrage with mothers from across the nation who say the ad blatantly promotes sin and yet is shown during prime time when children are watching.
One Million Moms has launched a campaign to shame Chobani for attempting to normalize sin by featuring two lesbians in bed. One woman lovingly strokes the other’s foot while each are shown to be wearing matching wedding bands. The ad states, “to love this life is to live it naturally.”
“There is nothing natural about homosexuality,” One Million Moms states. “What does selling yogurt have to do with gay sex? Nothing at all, but Chobani wants to make the association.”
The group says they will continue to stand up for Biblical truth about this particular type of sexual perversion.
“This ad would be inappropriate for television even if it were a heterosexual couple naked in bed together. There is additional concern about the way this advertisement is pushing the LGBT agenda, but an even greater concern is that the commercial is airing when children are likely watching television,” the Moms say.
For instance, the ad is airing during so-called family friendly program such as Full House on Nickelodeon and The Willis Family on TLC.
“Airing this commercial during family-friendly shows, especially on a children’s network, pushes the envelope and crosses a line that Chobani should have never crossed.”
As a result, they’re calling on the public to urge the company to pull this inappropriate commercial and remain neutral in the culture war.
“Also, let Chobani know that continuing to air this ad and offensive advertisements in the future will force your family to make the decision to no longer purchase Chobani products.”
