St Gregory of Nyssa recommends taking “custody of the eyes”. What does this mean? To what extent do I take in through the senses that which is morally illicit–especially regarding chastity? Mediums can contact the dead all they want, but when was the last time you heard of a visitor from the other side who told us something that might improve our lives or solve some of mankind’s most perplexing problems?
