In a bizarre new tactic to avoid airport screening devices, Al Qaeda terrorist groups are having explosive devices implanted in the breasts of female homicide bombers during plastic surgery.
Fox News is reporting that British spies discovered the tactic shortly after the Christmas Day incident when London-educated Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried to blow up a plane over Detroit with an explosive device hidden in his underwear.
Hours after the failed attempt, Britain’s intelligence services began to pick up “chatter” emanating from Pakistan and Yemen that alerted authorities to the creation of the lethal implants. They sent a team of specially trained spies to investigate and found the tactic was indeed being used and that it could “circumvent our defense.”
“Women suicide bombers recruited by Al Qaeda are known to have had the explosives inserted in their breasts under techniques similar to breast enhancing surgery,” Terrorist expert Joseph Farah claims.
It is believed that doctors affiliated with Al Qaeda were trained in the implant procedure at British hospitals, then returned home and began to use it on female homicide bombers.
Experts say the tactic could be deadly when used in the air because as little as five ounces of PETN, the same explosive found on the Christmas Day bomber, is enough to blow “a considerable hole” in the skin of an airliner, causing it to crash.
