Pro Life Activist’s Home Vandalized

jillstanek9Popular pro-life activist Jill Stanek came home from vacation this weekend to find her home vandalized by someone who wants her to “stop the pro-life bull—-.”

LifeNews is reporting on the incident which occurred this week at Stanek’s home in Illinois when she returned home from vacation to find a brick thrown through her window with a nasty note attached, warning her to “stop the pro-life bull—-.”

“In the scheme of things this was nothing. But having my home vandalized was a first for me in the #prolife movement,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “As if they thought this would make me stop? The police suggested not publicizing, but I said I wasn’t going to let pro-choice violence go unchecked.”

Police are reporting the incident as “bias related” and promise to watch the house more in the future.

Stanek is also reassuring her supporters that the family home does have a motion detection alarm system.

jill stanekWhy the attackers picked this week to attack she doesn’t know. “I haven’t even been doing anything to make abortion advocates mad lately! Just quietly doing my thing behind the scenes for SBA List [Susan B. Anthony List]! Apparently that’s worse than writing snarky blog posts!”

SBA List Executive Vice President Emily Buchanan told Life News that the attack was politically-motivated because of Stanek’s recent pro-life work which has seen her working to elect a pro-life president and advancing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act as well as other pro-life legislation.

“Jill knows more than anyone the pain these children experience,” Buchanan said. “As a nurse, she witnessed babies around this age struggle for life after they had been abandoned following a failed abortion.”

Which is why this attack will do little to slow her down. In fact, it has left her even more motivated.

“Will be back at my desk tomorrow!” Stanek told Life News yesterday. “More on fire than ever!”
