Cracked Pots!

gracelinesheader

“The Scripture says, “We are only earthenware Jars Clay 2 Cor 4, 7-9jars” (2 Cor.4:7). Cracked pots!  That’s what you are, a cracked pot that holds this great treasure.  We are, all of us, imperfect, but we must remember that the Spirit of God is inside each of us.”

                                      ~Mother Angelica

For Reflection:

The pearl of great price – inside me, a cracked pot! May I, through all my shortcomings and frailties, brokenness and sins always remember this pearl of great price inside me and glorify you, oh Lord, Light Eternal!

Make Use Of The Sacraments
Holy Orders:  The Sacrament of Priesthood
The essential rite of the Sacrament of Holy Orders consists in the imposition of the hands by the bishop on the head of the ordinand. The bishop prays to God and asks for the outpouring of the Holy spirit and the gifts proper to the ministry to which the candidate is being ordained. Because the priest operated in persona Christi Capitis, his unworthiness or personal situation does not prevent Christ from acting.
