The Problem of Pornography
Pornography has been around for thousands of years. Ancient art forms depict men and women in erotic poses or engaging in sexual activity. However, it wasn’t until the early twentieth century that it started to become mainstreamed in American culture. Starting with pinup girls in the 1940’s, pornography has entered every form of media including books, magazines, television, movies, videotapes, DVDs, music, video games, and now the Internet.
