“I knew him as a steadfast follower of the apostolic way of life. There is no doubt that he is in heaven, sharing in the glory of the apostles themselves.”
~Pope Gregory IX about St. Dominic
For Reflection:
Upon my death, what would cause someone to say about me that I was a “steadfast follower of the apostolic way of life?” What good habit do I need to form so that this statement might one day apply to me?

This book is a theology of ecclesial authority. We begin with a full discussion of feminist theology as it is articulated by its major advocates, notably Rosemary Radford Ruether, Elizabeth Schussler Fiorenza, and Mary Daly. Attention is also paid to lessor know authors whose contributions to feminist theology are nonetheless significant, i.e., Ida Raming and Naomi Goldenberg. Feminist theology is based in a egalitarian philosophy regarding the dignity of the person that considers sexual differentiation as purely functional with sacramental or liturgical significance.
