Volunteers in 45 states will begin to register voters inside Planned Parenthood clinics as well as online in an effort which is likely to benefit the pro-abortion presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.
The Hill is reporting on the news that Planned Parenthood, who is closely associated with the White House and the Democratic Party, will attempt to register voters who use their clinics – primarily younger, lower income, and minority women.
Insisting that the program is “non-partisan”, it is being called the “My Vote, My Voice” campaign and will consist of volunteers staffing tables set up outside Planned Parenthood clinics and other locations in the community to attract new voters and educate them about voter ID laws. According to the Huffington Post, they will then remind the newly registered to vote two weeks before the November election.
The abortion giant claims that it will register voters “regardless of their background, beliefs or political ideology” and says their hope is to enable “historically disenfranchised communities” to cast a vote in the presidential election.
People will be able to register in person at the clinics, on college campuses and other community health locations, as well as online.
“No matter what your political beliefs are, if you don’t or can’t vote, then you can’t elect officials who will keep your best interests in mind,” spokeswoman Anna Keene wrote in a statement to the Huffington Post.
Planned Parenthood has made no secret about their support for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton who is known for her strident support for abortion rights. They plan to spend $20 million on this year’s election to boost Clinton’s chances of winning the White House and nominating Supreme Court justices who will further abortion “rights” in the U.S.
“Planned Parenthood has found its champion in Clinton, who promised them that she would repeal the Hyde Amendment and force taxpayers to fund abortions,” writes Micaiah Bilger for Life News.
“The abortion giant also know that the next president could have the chance to nominate up to four U.S. Supreme Court justices – and sway the political leanings of the court for decades. Clinton promised to nominate U.S. Supreme Court Justices who will ensure that Roe v. Wade and abortion on demand up until birth remain the law of the land for years to come.”
