“If I had to advise parents, I should tell them to take great care about the people with whom their children associate.…Much harm may result from bad company, and we are inclined by nature to follow what is worse rather than what is better.”
~St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
For Reflection:
How have I seen this truth to be so in my own life? Are there people with whom either myself or a family member is associating right now who could influence either me or them toward the wrong direction? Is there a practical and loving step I can take today to resolve this situation?

TWENTY-EIGHTH WEEK:
THURSDAY
43. CHOSEN FROM ALL ETERNITY
43.1 A unique and unrepeatable vocation.
Each one of us has been called from all eternity to fulfil a divine vocation. God the Father brought us into life (no one has been born by accident). He created our soul. He drew us into his intimate life through the Sacrament of Baptism. By means of this sacrament God has commissioned us; He has put His seal upon us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. He has given us a specific work to accomplish in this life and has prepared a place for us in Heaven.
