A new nationwide 54-Day Rosary campaign to pray for our new president will begin on November 28, the feast of St. Catherine Laboure, and will end on Inauguration Day on January 20, 2017.
RomanCatholicMan.com is asking the faithful to join in praying of a 54-Day Rosary Novena for President-elect Donald J. Trump and the incoming administration.
Entitled, “Novena for Our Nation: Praying Grace into Our New President”, the novena consists of the traditional 54-Day Rosary novena, or the optional modern version which includes the Luminous Mysteries.
Every day of the novena comes with a one- to two-minute reflection for “Basic Training in Holiness” aimed at helping participants to grow in grace during the novena.
“Participants are not only praying for our nation, but receiving a quality 54 day basic training for becoming the saints we are called to be,” writes Father Richard M. Heilman, a priest of the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin State Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus.
By the grace of God, our nation was able to avoid the election of one of the most pro-abortion presidents in our nation’s history, and one whose campaign staff were actively plotting to subvert the teachings of the Catholic Church. But this battle for the soul of our country will not be won until our new president and his staff succeed in guiding the USA back to its founding principles so that we may once again be “one nation under God.”
