The hundreds of thousands of pro-life enthusiasts who will be traveling to Washington DC tomorrow will be met by more stringent security measures as the White House announces Vice President Mike Pence plans to address the crowd on the National Mall. And as usual, the secular media is already downplaying the event.

LifeSiteNews is reporting on the announcement that the Vice President of the United States will address the 44th annual March for Life in Washington DC tomorrow. As a result, marchers should be prepared for enhanced security measures.

“Participants should be aware that due to heightened security concerns, all will be required to go through airport-type screening to reach the rally site,” said a special notice from the March for Life organizers. “The screening stations will be on the Washington Monument grounds directly north of the Monument near 16th Street.”

Pence will join other members of the new administration, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), Rep. Mia Love (R-UT) and Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ).

During an interview with ABC’s David Muir, President Trump berated the press for ignoring the annual March for Life in spite of the fact that it attracts as many, if not more, marchers than last Saturday’s pro-abortion Women’s March which was heavily covered by the media.

Newsbusters reported that Muir was “caught completely off guard and was left stuttering by the turn of events. ‘I don’t want to compare crowd sizes again. I – I—I’, he said, trying to scramble away from the issue of liberal media bias against conservatives.”

However, the president didn’t let up, and pressed Muir further. “No, you should—But let me just tell you. What you do say is that the press doesn’t cover them.”

This was followed by a hard cut to another camera angle.

It remains to be seen if the press will show up at the March tomorrow, we may have received our first hint about the media’s continuing disdain for pro-life Americans. The New York Times’ announcement of Pence’s appearance at the March seemed to downplay the event, saying that the Vice President will speak on Friday “to a gathering of anti-abortion activists on the National Mall,” calling it a “sign of the movements new and growing authority in a government now dominated by Republicans.”

Another NYT article article claimed that pro-life marchers were coming to the capitol after the Women’s March with “a new sense of urgency, anxiety and maybe a little envy” because they were “suddenly realizing they had a tough act to follow.”

No, it’s more like the Women’s March has a lot of catching up to do if they want to compete with a movement that has been drawing even larger crowds for 44 years – and without any violence, foul language, pink hats, or out-of-touch celebrities.

Now that’s a tough act to follow!
