Of all places, an investment management company recently released a new ad campaign that includes a powerful pro-life message – and it’s gone viral!
Newsbuster’s Katie Yoder is reporting on the video recently released by Principal Financial Group, which is based in Iowa.
The ad, entitled, “Graduation,” follows the relationship between a young man and woman who suddenly discover that they are expecting. As they sit in a vehicle, in the pouring rain, he says, “Well, I can just quit school and get a job . . .”
The next scene shows the woman comforting her baby boy, whispering, “It’s okay, daddy’s home . . .” as her husband walks through the door.
As the video progresses, the boy grows into a teen. In one scene, the mother sits at the table and says, “I think we can do this . . .” just before we see the boy heading off to college.
In the end, the boy graduates from college.
The one-minute video ends with the words“Life doesn’t always go according to plan,” followed by “We can help with that.”
It’s the last place you would ever expect to see such a strong pro-life message, but it appears to be working.
Since the ad was launched on March 6, it has garnered 1.5 million hits on YouTube.
