One of the nation’s most powerful pro-family groups has decided to do something about the biased reporting of ABC, NBC and CBS on the presidential election.
The American Family Association (AFA) has launched the “Viewers Pledge”campaign which is collecting pledges from television viewers to not watch ABC, NBC, or CBS until after the November elections because of their blatant promotion of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and consistent attacks on Sarah Palin.
“Tell the networks you’re fed up with their attack on conservatives,” writes AFA chairman Donald E. Wildmon. “When the networks lose viewers, they also lose money. If viewers aren’t watching their promotion of Barack Obama and their trashing of Sarah Palin, they are losing money!”
Thus far, the AFA has collected more than 75,000 pledges and the number increases by the hour. The results of the campaign will be sent to all three networks.
“Send a message!” Wildmon says. “We’re sick and tired of your biased reporting and we’re not going to watch it anymore!”
