Today’s Reflection:
Prayer is the answer. It not only gets us through our time of spiritual travail but also helps us act in accordance with the will of God even when we are tempted to throw in the towel. Prayer helps us to hang in there, to trust that God is with us, and to place our confidence in Him.
Prayer is what the Blessed Virgin Mary did when she faced the contradictions of her life as Mother of the Messiah. It was in her heart that our Lady found the grace and consolation she needed. In our barren times, we need to pray more, not less.
Grace in abundance will be our reward.
Dearest Mother, on this Feast Day of your Queenship, pray for us!
