“Do everything in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14
Can you believe Election Day is less than a week away? We’ve faithfully prayed with each other throughout this season and have done all we can to get ourselves and our loved ones formed in the mind and heart of the Church. Now we must move forward and perform our civic duty, and vote with a properly formed conscience.
It’s easy in these final days to get frustrated and angry with those who disagree with the idea of voting to protect life, holy marriage, religious freedom, and other conservative values.
But we remember that when Election Day is behind us, we must live with and love each other. We must do all that we can to abide in love and speak the truth in love. And if you have been angry (or worse) against your brother, be sure to partake in the sacrament of confession.
In these final days, let us redouble our prayers and sacrifices. If you pray one rosary a day, pray two or three. If you make a weekly holy hour, perhaps make two or three. Consider fasting extra for the intention that God would bless us with a leader of His own heart and mind.
Finally, please join us again this week as we gather online for our Rosary Crusade for the Soul of Our Nation. Pick up your weapon, the Rosary, and pray with us on Wednesday at 4PM ET.
