The imagery of running to meet the “Sun of eternal light” is both urgent and hopeful, reminding us that God’s illumination is always near, waiting for our embrace. What parts of your heart might need more openness or surrender to experience the treasures St. Ambrose describes? As the Holy Spirit to help you cultivate a heart that runs toward light and grace rather than resisting or hesitating.
