Muslim extremists, incensed over the way the prophet Mohammad was portrayed in an American-made film, have gone on a murderous rampage in several Middle Eastern countries – killing the U.S. ambassador to Libya and storming the U.S. embassy in Cairo where the flag was torn down and desecrated in the streets.
