J. J. Hanson, a former marine who suffers from the same kind of brain cancer as 29 year-old Brittany Maynard, the woman who publicized her assisted suicide last year, is vigorously lobbying against an assisted suicide bill that is scheduled to be voted upon today by Washington D.C.’s City Council.
