President Donald Trump has expanded the Mexico City Policy, an executive order that prevents groups from providing abortion overseas with US aid money, and is now applying the order to all foreign global health assistance.
While the Obama Administration continues to ignore the humanitarian crisis occurring on the U.S. southern border, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced that it will provide a $350 million grant opportunity to anyone willing to provide shelter and “family planning services” to the thousands of “unaccompanied alien children” (UACs) who are pouring into the country at unprecedented rates.
When forced abortion opponent and blind attorney Chen Guangcheng escaped house arrest in China last week and fled to the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, he touched off what some are calling the most significant challenge to U.S.-China relations since the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989.

A major pro-life organization has launched a petition drive aimed at convincing members of Congress to block a bill pending in the U.S. House that will grant $715 million to international family planning agencies to fund abortion, sterilization and oral contraception.

In spite of the fact that the majority of Americans oppose President Barack Obama’s decision to use taxpayer money to fund overseas abortions, a New York Congresswoman is asking the government to increase this funding from $50 million to $530 million to “reverse a decade of inadequate funding.”

A Pennsylvania Senator who refers to himself as “pro-life” received a stern letter from his bishop after he voted against an amendment that would have reinstated the Mexico City Policy, a law forbidding the use of taxpayer funds for overseas abortions that was overturned by executive order of President Barack Obama.
