As expected, the mainstream media has launched into a flurry of speculation about who the next pope will be, forgetting that 1) God is in charge and He doesn’t belong to a political party and 2) there’s a reason for the old adage “Who Enters the Conclave a Pope Leaves a Cardinal.”
