In mid-February, 1967, about 25 students from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, gathered at the Ark and the Dove retreat center outside of the City for a retreat weekend on the Holy Spirit.
During those couple of days, through the providential action of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, the Charismatic Renewal in the Catholic Church was born.
This week, our guest is Patti Gallagher Mansfield, one of the first to witness and experience this mighty movement of grace called the Baptism in the Spirit.
She will share with us her story, tell us about the growth of the renewal internationally, give us her insights about the Renewal’s present and future, and the significance of its 50th anniversary year. The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”
