Celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception

& the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Patroness

Join us! Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of "Women of Grace" by spending six days on a Catholic Pilgrimage with famed Catholic Speaker, Executive Producer, Radio Host, President & Founder of "Women of Grace" - Johnnette Williams & author, Kathleen Beckman L.H.S. Both Johnnette and Kathleen will host evening lectures and there will also, be many special Women of Grace activities throughout to really catch the spirit of being in Mexico for both the Feasts of Our Lady of Guadalupe & the Immaculate Conception.

Day 1: Friday - December 8th: Depart and Arrive in Mexico Celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception Make your way to your local airport where you will board your flight(s) to Mexico City. Upon arrival, you will collect your luggage in the baggage claim area, and continue to the Arrival's Hall where you will be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy free time before gathering as a group to celebrate a Special Mass in honor of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. After, we will gather for a Welcome Meeting, followed by dinner. Return to your hotel room for a restful nights sleep.

Day 2: Saturday - December 9th: Mexico City "In the Footsteps of Blessed Conchita and Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz" Wake up in Mexico City! After breakfast, the first part of the morning we will dedicate to one of the most important women in the Mexican spiritual history, Blessed Conchita Concepcion Cabrera de Armida, a model for wives, mothers and lovers of Christ. We will board our bus and visit her house, which is now a museum, that includes a relic of our Blessed Conchita. Here you will meet with the Sisters of the Apostleship of the Cross and they will guide you through her house. We will continue to El Altillo where her remains currently rest. There will be time for prayer and meditation, and it is here that we will celebrate Mass. Then we will proceed to the Historical Center and have lunch. In the afternoon we will get to know more about Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, one of the most important women in Mexican history. Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz was a writer, philosopher, composer, poet and a brave fearless Hieronymite Nun. She will quickly learn why she gained the nickname "the 10th Muse " and the "Phoenix of America". We will visit the Convent where she used to spend her religious life, and where she died in 1695. After this visit, you will return to Mexico City to tour the oldest and largest Cathedral in all of Latin America, the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven. Throughout your time in the Cathedral, you will be overwhelmed by the stunning paintings, altar pieces, and statues. Return to your hotel to enjoy a delicious dinner and rest before the next day of activities. Enjoy dinner and overnight. *Lecture in the evening led by Kathleen Beckman, L.H.S. 

Day 3: Sunday - December 10th: Excursion to Puebla A fun-filled day is ahead of you. Enjoy a spectacular drive to what is known as Mexico's most beautify city - Puebla. On your ride, you will climb to over 10,000 feet above sea level, and view two magnificent peaks; one that is covered with snow and the other that is an active volcano. Upon arrival, you will visit the well preserved kitchen of the Nuns of the former Convent - Santa Rosa de Lima, a masterpiece of Talavera and colonial architecture. Upon arrival, you will begin your sightseeing tour and visit: the Cathedral dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, a treasure of colonial art. Also, the Church of St. Dominic to admire the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary built in 1690. This is an outstanding example of Mexican Baroque, with dazzling use of gilded stucco and onyx stonework. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi is where you will view the incorrupt body of St. Sebastian of Aparicido, and have some free time for shopping at the local Parian market with its colorful, glazed pottery. Enjoy a typical poblano lunch will Mole tasting be served at a local restaurant. Return to your Hotel in Mexico City and make your way to the Banquet Room where "Women of Grace" have arranged a Special "Roses and Intentions" activity, in preparation for the upcoming Feast Day. After, you will gather in the evening for dinner and a restful overnight.

Day 4: Monday - December 11th: Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe After breakfast, depart for the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Patroness of the Americas), by way of the Plaza of the Three Cultures. You will first visit the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco where St. Juan Diego was baptized. This plaza is important as it symbolizes the unique blend of the pre-Hispanic, and Hispanic cultures that make up Mexico. Continue to the Shrine of Guadalupe, built in response to Our Lady's request to the visionary, St. Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin. Upon arrival at the Shrine, you will celebrate Mass and marvel at the brilliantly colored Basilica. Following Mass, we visit the various points of interest in the Tepeyac area surrounding the Basilica, each associated with the story of the apparitions of Our Lady. We see the original chapel on the exact site of the apparitions to Juan Diego (Capilla del Cerrito) and the Old Basilica completed in 1709. One special stop is La Capilla del Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well) - a well which opened under the feet of the Virgin. We will join the other pilgrims as you kneel in front of the "Tilma", where Our Lady's image was miraculously imprinted. Then, your group will be given a beautiful flower arrangement of Roses in honor of Our Lady, where each person will take a rose and lay it at the altar for prayers for family and friends. Your fun-filled busy day will culminate with a delicious dinner and an overnight at your hotel. *Lecture in the evening led by Johnette

Day 5: Tuesday - December 12th: Mexico City Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe After breakfast, we will begin a day that will be in our minds and hearts forever! Depart for the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe where we will pay tribute, and celebrate, her Anniversary. We will attend this very Special Mass of the Rosary, and take part of the joyful day at the Shrine. Enjoy lunch in the afternoon, and then transfer to the Church of Tulpetlec (also known as the Church of the 5th Apparition) where the Blessed Virgin Maria de Guadalupe appeared to Juan Bernardino, Juan Diego's uncle. Here you can find a well of healing water which locals drink from. Next, a final return visit to the Shrine to have some quiet time for prayer. After, you will have the remainder of the day free to spend at your own leisure. In the evening, we will gather for a special Farewell Dinner in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Women of Grace! Then, retire to your room to pack and for a restful overnight. *Lecture in the evening led by Johnette Day 6: Wednesday - December 13th: Return Home After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, we transfer for Mexico City Airport for our return flights home.

  • Kathleen Beckman

    For twenty-five years, and in thirteen countries, Kathleen Beckman has served in the Church’s ministry of evangelization through Catholic radio and television, writing and speaking. Sophia Institute Press has published her last four books including the bestseller, “A Family Guide to Spiritual Warfare: Strategies for Deliverance and Healing”. At the invitation of clergy, Kathleen has served in the Church’s ministry of exorcism and deliverance for sixteen years. She was on faculty for the Pope Leo XIII Institute for six years, completed the Association of International Exorcists Course at the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum University in 2017, serves as the diocesan administrator of exorcism and deliverance ministry. A member of the exorcist’s team, she accompanies persons seeking liberation from evil spirits. In 2013, with encouragement of the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Clergy, she co-founded the Foundation of Prayer for Priests, an apostolate of intercession and sacrifice for the holiness and protection of priests.   • Johnnette Benkovic Williams

    Johnnette Benkovic Williams is Founder and President of Women of Grace®, a Catholic apostolate for women featuring a number of outreaches including conferences, media, study groups and more.

    After years of being a non-practicing Catholic, Johnnette experienced a deep conversion back to her Catholic faith in 1981. Her conversion sparked a new vocation: sharing the Gospel message through the utilization of media. She has been an inspiring and consistent presence on EWTN Catholic radio and EWTN Catholic television for over 30 years.
