Father Jordi Rivero

Father Jordi Rivero came to United States as a child in 1960 when his family fled Communist Cuba. He served in the US Navy. Through his involvement with a charismatic prayer group he was called to the priesthood and realized the need for covenant communities where members can grow deep in their faith. Father Rivero was ordained on May 15, 1982 for the Archdiocese of Miami. In 2008, Father Rivero and Lourdes Pinto co-founded Love Crucified, a Catholic community that encompasses all states of life and has members in diverse places. Members covenant with God and each other to be God’s hidden victims of love. He currently resides in Georgia, dedicated to the Love Crucified mission.
