We are going to discover what science is revealing to us about the relationship between the passion of Jesus, the Shroud of Turin and a second piece of cloth found in the tomb of Jesus known as the Sudarium. And, we’ll also discover what science may be revealing to us about how the Resurrection of Christ actually happened.

In Saint John’s Gospel, the evangelist remarks about two pieces of fabric that he, along with Peter, discover in the empty tomb of Christ. One is the burial cloth itself, and the other, located some distance away, is the piece of fabric that had covered Christ’s head. What does science tell us about the relationship between these two swaths of material? And, do these relics suggest more to us as well ?
