Venerable Fulton J. Sheen once remarked that “There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.” While this statement most assuredly applies to the masses of misinformed and ill-informed individuals outside of the faith, it also applies to many who were baptized in the Faith. Poor catechesis, unfortunate experiences, scandals, and the press of a relativistic and secularist culture have opened the door for many Catholics to march out of their parish homes. All of this makes the need for a new conversation to take place – one that depends on the truth spoken in love. And today’s guests provide it.
