On June 24 of this year, the United States Supreme Court overturned the controversial 1973 ruling of Roe versus Wade which declared that the ‘right to privacy’ clause of the Constitution protected a woman’s right to abortion. Pro-abortion groups and most media outlets responded with a spate of misinformation, which worked to incite confusion, angry demonstrations, vandalism, harassment, and threats.
