Yesterday, we began a four-part series on one of the newer saints of the Catholic Church, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, a Jewish convert and martyr who became a Carmelite nun in the years just before World War II. Captured by the Gestapo, she was put to death in Auschwitz in 1942. Dr. Donald Wallenfang is back with us today to help us gain greater insight into this Saint of our time as we discuss her life, and the philosophical and spiritual lens through which she saw the world and her God.
