We’ve been talking about holiness the past few weeks and we’ve come to see that the School of Mary teaches us how to make progress in our union with God. We’ve seen that the Rosary and the Scapular aid us in our quest for sanctity, and we discovered that the Scapular means much more than simply placing it around our neck. It means we desire to emulate, imitate, if you will, the one who gave it to St. Simon Stock, the Blessed Virgin Mary. The way we do that? By growing in her virtues. Today, we’ll look at the first of Our Lady’s principal virtues, her profound humility.
