If we want to grow in holiness of life and make progress in the spiritual life, it only makes sense to emulate the one whose relationship with God was the deepest of all, and that’s the Blessed Virgin Mary, of course, the mother of Jesus Christ, the Word Made Flesh. Through our last several episodes of Journeys With Jesus we’ve been seeking to do just that. We’ve taken Mary as our teacher to help us grow in conformity to her Son, and as our exemplar we’ve begun to explore her virtues. Today we’ll conclude our discussion of the first of her ten principal virtues as outlined by St. Louis de Montfort: her profound humility.
