While we have a pretty good idea we’re not going to make it through this life without some strife, suffering, and sorrow, they catch us by surprise when they come. Diagnosed with a debilitating illness that causes her body to literally fall apart, not only has she learned what true trust in God is all about, but how to greet adversity with joy, peace, and hope – sometimes even through gritted teeth.
