Stories of Impact

Your support and prayers are having an impact in the lives of women and girls around the world!

“…I was lost, and now, because of Women of Grace, I’m found. And I’m so happy to say yes and give my fiat to this anointed apostolate. Serving as a facilitator has been a gift that I’m so happy I’ve received.”

Facilitator, Denise

“I was raised Catholic and remained faithful for most of my life…Shortly before COVID, I started listening to Johnnette on the radio. During one Holy Communion, I felt God saying, ‘Stay with her. She’s a good fit.’ Little did I know that with COVID and Zoom, I would participate in the Foundational Study. Now, my faith has deepened more than I ever imagined. I love the Lord and Women of Grace so much…Through Jesus, I know I am redeemed and a daughter of the Most High God.”

Event Participant, Ruth

“These events were so Grace-filled and brought much-needed peace and fellowship, especially at trying times…The sacred sisterhood developed by these events has also been life-changing, and I feel so immensely blessed to belong to the Women of Grace Apostolate…”

Facilitator, Martha

“Women of Grace has impacted all these women in different ways. One woman shared that she always felt like an outcast due to her marital status and it was a different experience as she was welcomed to participate and now is working on seeking an annulment. Her biggest wish is to be able to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist. Another woman shared with us that she was always searching for a group or a place where she could learn more about God she searched and for one reason or another was not able to find such a group, and then she heard about Women of Grace and decided to participate. She knows this is exactly what she was looking for. She was thirsty for God and she found Him. Many of the women were touched by the chapter on forgiveness. Taking what they learned and putting it into practice, some reached out and asked for forgiveness from those they had wronged or forgave those who had harmed them. They have also shared that they have gotten to know themselves and have a better understanding and opinion of themselves. They know they have a purpose as women. God has a mission for them. The women have also put some of the teachings into practice in their own family. Some say it was challenging and at times felt like giving up but by the grace of God and prayers from the other women, they persevered. It is amazing and a blessing to see them flourish by the grace and with the grace from God along with our blessed Mother. God has truly and abundantly blessed all of us through Women of Grace.”

“I want to talk a little bit about how Young Women of Grace has helped me in my faith life. I took it my junior and senior year of high school, right before Covid happened. The biggest thing that Young Women of Grace has helped me with was finding mentors who had more experience in their faith and life lessons that I could go to in terms of, “Hey, I’m having a hard time in this situation in high school.” Or “I’m having a hard time now in college.” We are women and we have specific spiritual motherhood hearts. It has helped me to constantly go back to them for support. We can’t do it alone. In terms of our faith, the entire world doesn’t always agree with us, so it’s nice to have someone who is on the same platform as you are to help you out in that lens. It has helped me stay in touch with people from my home parish because I go to school three hours away. For example, I’m helping with the Young Women of Grace classes during Vacation Bible School, trying to help the women who have helped me talk to a new generation of young women. Hopefully, they can get the same thing out of it that I did. It has helped me and continues to help me have confidence in my spiritual motherhood. Women always think you have to be a mom to gain that gift or virtue or blessing, but we have it as soon as we’re born. I can see myself growing into it. A lot of that had to do with listening and hearing about the saints talking with the facilitators who taught the class and going back and re-reading some of the lessons. I would highly recommend Young Women of Grace to anyone…It was probably two years of the best formation I have had, helping me to create a really solid foundation.”

“It showed me how the culture portrays women… but this book told me God gives us true beauty and grace…, a grace we can use for the greater glory of God.”
